Roland Lescure
Executive Vice-President and Chief Investment Officer, Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec

Roland Lescure oversees the investment strategy and asset allocation for the overall portfolio, and shapes the research that underpins investment operations. He also supervises the investment teams and operations in equities, fixed-income securities and overlay strategies. He plays a key advisory role for private equity and real estate investments and sits on the Caisse's executive committee.

Before joining the Caisse, Mr. Lescure was Deputy CEO and Chief Investment Officer at Groupama Asset Management, one of France's largest asset management firms, from 2006 until 2009. Previously he worked for Natexis Asset Management, IXIS Asset Management, and the French Institut national de la statistique et des etudes economiques (INSEE), where he was in charge of economic forecasting.

He is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et de l'Administration Economique (ENSAE) in Paris and has an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics. Mr. Lescure has also contributed to several initiatives undertaken by the Council of Economic Advisers, a body reporting to the French prime minister.



Dr. Paul Achleitner
Board member responsible for finance and investments, Allianz

Dr. Achleitner joined the board of Allianz in 2000 having spent 12 years at Goldman Sachs, first in New York and London and then as resident partner in Frankfurt for five years. Before that he was a management consultant at Bain & Co. in Boston.

Dr. Achleitner serves on various boards, including Bayer, Daimler and RWE, the shareholder's committee of Henkel, the international advisory boards of the Harvard Business School and Brookings Institution, as well as several government commissions of the Federal Republic of Germany. He is also professor of finance at the WHU Koblenz. He was educated at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland and the Harvard Business School.
